Anita Rogers, daughter of artist Jack Martin Rogers, is the founder of  Anita Rogers Gallery, a contemporary fine art gallery in SoHo, New York City. Active in both primary and secondary markets, the gallery strives to cultivate the careers of exceptional painters and sculptors, both figurative and abstract, who have earned their place in the contemporary art market. Anita Rogers Gallery has become a hub for New York artists, who are descendants of the New York School, and aims to provide a place for authentic discourse on the current and future state of the art world.

Anita Rogers is the founder of British American Talent Management,  a talent management firm that represents a roster of UK born and trained actors, as well as a select group of American performers. The firm is headquartered in Los Angeles and New York City and is known for showcasing the finest talent from the USA and Europe. British American only represents an established and eclectic variety of highly talented on-the-cusp artists. Anita Rogers founded BA Talent after many years spent in the entertainment industry as a professional singer.

Anita Rogers founded British American Household Staffing the nation’s leading domestic staffing agency, in 2012. BAHS provides staff for high end homes and crew for super-yachts around the world. BAHS is headquartered in NYC with offices in LA as well as Miami, London and Geneva. BAHS provides staff to wonderful clients who live and work on the east and west coasts of the US, the UK, St Bart’s, the Mediterranean, Switzerland, the Bahamas, Monaco and other holiday destinations.

Anita was born in Swanage, Dorset in the United Kingdom to first generation British parents. Her mother is the daughter of Karel Schwarz, a Czech refugee who made a name for himself as an entrepreneur and small business owner in London.  Anita’s father is Jack Martin Rogers, a fine artist who worked in a variety of styles and mediums, ranging from fully figurative to abstract.

Anita Rogers speaks three languages: British English, Greek, and Spanish. In addition to being a trained opera singer, Anita also sings music from 1920’s/1940’s era Greece (Rebetika and Smyrnaika) and Turkey. She also writes and records her own songs in Spanish. Her operatic repertoire include Carmen, Delilah, and Dido. She specializes in lieder, especially Mahler. Song cycles include the Ruckert Lieder and Des Knaben Wunderhorn.
